AGameBuddy is being built around a simple idea: your screen, conversations and model credentials belong to you. This page describes the Founder's Preview as of July 19, 2026.
What the desktop app sees
When you enable watching, AGameBuddy captures ordinary pixels from the screen or stream source you select. Its intended capture path does not read game memory or inject code into a game. You can stop watching at any time and can configure screenshot logging separately.
Cloud and local AI
If you choose a cloud model, selected screenshots, your prompt and relevant AGameBuddy memory may be sent to that provider to generate a response. The provider's own privacy terms apply. If you choose a local model, model processing can remain on your computer, subject to the local software you select.
Keys and credentials
The Windows app is designed to store API credentials in the Windows credential vault rather than in ordinary settings files. AGameBuddy does not ask you to publish your provider key to other players. In the bring-your-own-key model, each player is responsible for their own provider account and usage.
Rooms and accounts
When you create an AGameBuddy Rooms account, the service stores the account information, device key, room membership and messages needed to operate the service. Voice connections may use real-time connection services to connect participants. Do not place secrets in room messages.
Website data
This website may receive routine server information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages and timestamps for security and reliability. We do not sell personal information.
Your controls
You can disable watching, voice, audio listening, screenshot logging and automatic startup inside the app. You may request deletion of an online account or hosted room data by contacting us.
Pre-release changes
The Founder's Preview is evolving. We will update this notice when the product's collection or hosting behavior materially changes.
